I fell in love with this dress and Catherine Deane's designs after trying one on at BHLDN. The lace is so soft and feminine! I bought the Zahara Gown and the Bridgette but ultimately decided to wear the Bridgette on my wedding day. I had the Zahara gown altered to fit a size six (see alteration dimensions below). So the Zahara gown was never worn except the few times I tried it on to be altered. Please contact me with any questions. I will be more than happy to answer them if I can.
This dress was altered from a size 8 to a size six. The dimensions are Bust: 36", Natural Waist: 28", Hips: Free, Skirt length from natural waist to floor: 44.5".
Excerpt from BHLDN: Born in Ireland, raised in South Africa, and based out of London, Catherine Deane’s designs are inspired by her nomadic lifestyle, as well as her passion for Victorian-era craft techniques and exceptionally soft fabrications. Intricate embroidered vines swirl over the structured sweetheart bodice of this vintage-inspired creation, while the full tulle skirt provides a romantic backdrop for artistically placed lace. We love the softness of its champagne hue and how the silk charmeuse waistband cinches your waist for the perfect shape.
